I’ve heard that these are the smallest of all butterflies, and they are tiny. Also fast.

Host Plant(s): Plumbago is commonly accepted as the host plant, but I have observed them on Red Powderpuff and White Powderpuff. On Powderpuffs, they lay eggs in the nascent bud clusters, and the caterpillars eat the flowers as they open.

One caterpillar photo, one pupa photo, and one butterfly photo, were all very, very, very, beautiful!!! Daniel.
